Socorro Partners welcomes Adriano Mucelli as a Managing Director

Miami, September 25, 2024 – Socorro Partners is pleased to announce that Adriano Mucelli has joined the firm’s Advisory practice as a Managing Director in its Forensics service line. Adriano brings over 20 years of experience working on large-scale projects in forensic accounting, fraud and misconduct investigations, improper conversion of corporate assets, dispute advisory services, expert witness testimony, fraud prevention services, forensic technology, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations and training, anti-money laundering investigations and assessment of related programs, and regulatory compliance services. He has built and led multi-disciplinary global teams for a variety of complex forensics projects.

Adriano spent most of his career at KPMG, including in the U.S., Chile, and Argentina where he was ultimately a partner for several years in their Forensics practice. He started his career at Accenture, and prior to Socorro Partners he worked in BDO USA’s Forensics practice. Throughout his career, Adriano has served a wide range of clients throughout U.S. and Latin America, including Puerto Rico, Argentina, Aruba, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, and Venezuela. His industry experience includes financial services, oil and gas, healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality.

With a degree in accounting from the National University of La Plata, Adriano is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the Buenos Aires Province, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and he serves as an active member of certain affiliated professional organizations. Adriano is a frequent speaker at seminars regarding fraud and misconduct risk management.
