Miami, June 17, 2024 - Alfredo De Zayas is a tax partner at Socorro Partners, specializing in tax optimization strategies for global executives and high-net-worth individuals worldwide, as well as the tax-efficient structuring of legal entities in relation to domestic and cross-border transactions. He provides comprehensive tax compliance and planning services to domestic and international clients, leveraging his extensive experience across various industries, including hedge funds, private equity funds, professional services firms, real estate (investors, developers, and contractors), shipping, telecommunications, hospitality and tourism, and wholesale distribution.

Among his work with high-net-worth individuals, Alfredo focuses on pre-immigration tax planning, expatriation tax planning, foreign investment in U.S. real estate (FIRPTA), foreign tax credits, tax treaty planning, and structuring cross-border transactions. His expertise extends to tax compliance and planning for U.S. citizens residing abroad, ensuring optimal tax strategies for diverse client needs.

A Florida-licensed CPA, Alfredo holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami, and both a Master of Science in Taxation and an undergraduate degree in accounting from Florida International University.
