Alexis Wong is a Managing Director in its Advisory practice, where she focuses on technical accounting, IPO readiness, and SOX. She has been in the public accounting profession since 2012 and has experience serving audit and advisory clients through IPOs, refinancings, and M&A activity. Alexis has worked closely with management teams and their external audit firms at numerous SEC registrants to develop accounting policies, technical accounting memoranda, business process documentation, and internal control documentation in the context of IPO preparation, as well as at large SEC registrants.

Alexis has also worked on finance transformation projects. Having started her career in Deloitte’s Audit and Enterprise Risk Services practice, Alexis focused primarily on audits of publicly-traded companies, as well as in preparation for an IPO. Following Deloitte, Alexis joined the Risk & Transaction Advisory practice at Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, which was later acquired by BDO, where Alexis last worked as a Director in its Assurance business line. Additionally, prior to starting her public accounting career, Alexis held a risk advisory position at a publicly-traded Fortune 500 company where she worked on SOX compliance; and she briefly worked in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement through its prestigious internship program.

A Florida-licensed CPA and Certified Internal Auditor, Alexis is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Florida Institute of CPAs, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She holds a master's degree in accounting from Florida International University and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Florida.
