Amish Patel has joined the firm’s Advisory practice as a Managing Director in Transaction Advisory Services, where he will be integral to the firm’s M&A solution. Amish is a seasoned transaction advisory professional with over 20 years of experience advising private equity, Fortune 500, and private companies alike. He has significant experience working with CEOs and other C-level executives, as well as private equity operating partners and portfolio company management teams, building trusted long-term relationships, and a track record of advising clients across the entire M&A lifecycle, from pre-LOI through post-close.

Amish’s financial due diligence experience includes acquisitions, divestitures, carveouts, and recapitalizations. His expertise includes evaluating the underlying integrity of financial information, quality of earnings, cash flows, and net working capital.

Prior to Socorro Partners, Amish spent most of his career at PwC, including in the U.S. and U.K., and then worked in BDO USA’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. Throughout his career, Amish has served a wide range of clients throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia. His industry experience includes manufacturing & distribution, business services, technology/SaaS, consumer products, and transportation & logistics.

Amish holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Michigan - Ross School of Business. He is a Georgia-licensed CPA, and he serves as an active member of certain affiliated professional organizations. Amish is a frequent speaker at M&A conferences and author of thought leadership.
