Ramesh Dorairaj is a Managing Director, based in the Metro Detroit, Michigan area. He is a seasoned management consultant with 20+ years of experience at premier firms such as PwC, KPMG, A.T. Kearney, IBM, and Bristlecone. He has experience working with CEOs and other C-level executives, building trusted long-term relationships, and a track record of driving transformational procurement initiatives that have included procurement operating model development and organizational design, strategic sourcing (direct and indirect categories), category strategy development and management, process improvement, enterprise cost take-out and EBIDTA improvement.

Ramesh’s industry experience is varied with primary focus in the automotive, manufacturing/industrial, oil & gas, and utilities industries. In addition, he has experience in services industries, namely real estate management, education/publishing, fine art and jewelry, government and non-profit. Prior to joining Socorro Partners, Ramesh was the global practice leader with P&L responsibility for Procurement Excellence & Transformation consulting at Bristlecone, a systems integration/advisory firm, and a key member of the Sourcing and Supply Chain consulting leadership team at BDO USA, LLP. He has also served in interim executive roles – Global Facility Procurement Lead (real estate management company) and Interim Head of Strategic Sourcing (not for profit entity).

Ramesh has an undergraduate degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India (NITT) and an MBA in Supply Chain Management & Information Systems from the Michigan State University, East Lansing.
