Ray Soriano is a Managing Director in the Advisory practice. With over 30 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk management, internal audit, and IT operations, Ray is an experienced management consultant and leader. His proven track record lies in harmonizing cybersecurity, governance, risk management, internal audit, and IT domains. He delivers innovative solutions aligned with business needs and regulatory compliance requirements.

Ray’s experience extends to strategy, planning, development, implementation, and maturation of world-class enterprise information security/cybersecurity programs. He has advised on a wide range of regulatory and strategic compliance engagements across industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, life sciences, energy, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, and non-profits. Ray has led various internal audit efforts, including in connection with SOX compliance, and including IT General Controls and application security control reviews. Prior to joining Socorro Partners, Ray was the CEO and founding member of Pike Advisors, a Florida-based risk advisory firm. He held key advisor roles at firms including EisnerAmper, GuidePoint Security, RSM, Deloitte, EY, and Chase. His consulting experience includes assessing information security and privacy programs, directing large-scale IT security transformational projects, executing bank receivership and IT due diligence services, and serving as an Information Security leader for scores of companies including a US-based financial institution and global retailer.

Ray’s educational background includes an undergraduate and graduate degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. He holds certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certified Registered Professional (CMMC RP), along with numerous technical certifications.
